1. What is Checkpoint?
 
Checkpoint is a one-stop portal for gamers to purchase game credits, connect with gaming communities, get the latest game news, support your favourite creators, and more. This portal is open to anyone with a valid Malaysian mobile number.


2. What is CP(s)?
 
CP(s) is Checkpoint’s own currency. CP(s) are stored in your Checkpoint Wallet. To purchase credits and items on Checkpoint, you will need to reload your wallet at a currency rate of RM1 = 1CP.


3. What is RG and how does it work?
 
RGs are reward points earned when spending on Checkpoint.
RG can be used to redeem XPax reloads and a variety of other offers.


4. Is there a membership tier programme?
 
Yes. There are 3 membership tiers as follows:

As you spend, you will be awarded RGs (please refer to membership tier and RG earned per CP spent) and progress up the tier once you’ve spent the required amount of CPs.

You are required to maintain points collection for 2 months, failing which, you will be demoted to a lower membership tier.

The higher your tier, the better your RG rebate rates.

New users are automatically allocated Silver status.

KEK members who join Checkpoint will be rewarded the Gold status.

RGs collected are valid for two (2) months. Please refer to our Redeem Rewards page to redeem Xpax reloads and other great items with your RGs.


5. How do I register?
 
Step 1: Select "Register Here". You can register using your email.
Step 2: Enter your email address and create your password.
Step 3: Check “I Agree with the Terms & Conditions” and select "Submit" button.
Step 4: You will receive a verification email. Follow the link to confirm your email address.
Step 5: Log in to Checkpoint.


6. Can I register an account if I am not a Celcom user?
 
Yes, this portal is open to anyone with a valid Malaysian mobile number. Celcom users can top up with Xpax Prepaid Reload cards, while non-Celcom users can choose between Boost, GrabPay and Touch ‘n Go for their top-up.


7. How do I edit my account details?
 
Click on your username, go to Menu, then Profile. From there, you can update your profile, email address, and password.


8. How do I reload?
 
Step 1: Log in to Checkpoint
Step 2: Select CP Wallet
Step 3: Choose Reload Code or Direct Reload. For Reload Code, you can top up using a Celcom reload card (16-digit pin). For Direct Reload, you can use your Celcom credit balance (Celcom user only) or other top-up options (Boost, GrabPay & Touch ‘n Go).
Step 4: Choose the amount you want to reload and select 'Submit'.
Step 5: Enter the TAC sent to your mobile number (Celcom Direct reload).
Step 6: Check your SMS for confirmation.


9. How do I buy game items?
 
Scenario 1: Sufficient credit in your Checkpoint Wallet
Step 1: Select a game title from Checkpoint’s Game Catalogue.
Step 2: Choose your preferred package.
Step 3: Click "Confirm Purchase".
Step 4: Once your purchase status is successful, you will receive a notification with the Pin Code.

Scenario 2: Insufficient credit in your Checkpoint Wallet
Step 1: Select a game title from Checkpoint’s Game Catalogue.
Step 2: Choose your preferred package.
Step 3: Insufficient balance notification will appear with the total amount you need to top up. Choose to top-up the exact amount or a pre-set amount.
Step 4: Confirm the amount to be reloaded. Once successful, your new Wallet balance will appear.
Step 5: Once your purchase status is successful, you will receive a notification with the product code.


10. How do I redeem a reward item?
 
Step 1: Select "Redeem Reward" from the menu.
Step 2: Choose the reward you wish to redeem and click "Yes".
Step 3: Once successful, you will receive the product code in your Redemption History.


11. Can I convert CPs into cash?
 
No, CPs cannot be converted into cash. CPs are Checkpoint’s currency and can only be used within this platform.


12. Can I share points/rewards with friends?
 
No, your points and rewards are tied to your account and cannot be transferred.


13. How long is the validity period of CRs?
 
CRs expire within 2 months from the rebate date.


14. How long is the validity period of the product code purchased from Checkpoint?
 
Product code expiry dates depend on respective game publishers. Please refer to their terms and conditions.


15. Can I get a refund for any of my purchases?
 
No, all completed purchases are non-refundable.


16. How do I track my past purchases?
 
Go to Profile > My Wallet > Transaction History to view details of your previous purchases.


17. How do I track items that I have redeemed?
 
Go to Profile > CP Wallet > Transaction History to view details of your previous redemptions.


18. How do I check my CP Reload history?
 
Go to Profile > CP Wallet > Transaction History to view your previous CP reloads.


19. Where do I check all my notifications?
 
Go to Notifications > Inbox to view all your notifications.


20. How do I logout from my account?
 
Select Logout from the menu to be logged out from Checkpoint.


21. How do I search games according to categories?
 
On the top of the homepage, select the category you want in the Sort section.


22. Can I share games on Checkpoint's catalogue to Facebook?
 
Yes, you can click the ‘Share’ button and a new window will pop up, prompting you to log in to your Facebook account.

c) Invalid Xpax 16-digit reload pin / pin has been used
d) Purchase transaction was unsuccessful, but amount was recorded in bill
e) Tier status not updated after reaching membership tier benchmark points.
f) Unable to register mobile number
g) Did not receive TAC pin
h) Unable to change password
i) Did not receive purchased or redeemed items
j) Did not receive digital invoice or receipt after purchase
k) Did not receive item code after purchase
l) Received an unauthorised purchase notification
